Philadelphia Eagles Autism Foundation pledges $4.1 million for autism research

The Philadelphia Eagles Autism Foundation has pledged $4.1 million to fund 20 pilot studies for autism research. These studies will focus on several aspects of autism, including early detection, interventions, and technologies to improve the lives of people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

The foundation, in partnership with leading autism research institutions, will provide funding for the pilot studies over a three-year period. The goal is to produce evidence-based research that will ultimately lead to better outcomes for individuals with ASD and their families.

The pilot studies will explore a range of topics, including the development of new diagnostic tools for early detection of ASD, the effectiveness of interventions such as behavioral therapy and sensory integration, and the use of technology to improve communication and socialization skills in individuals with ASD.

The Philadelphia Eagles Autism Foundation was established in 2018 with the mission of supporting innovative autism research and programs that improve the lives of individuals with ASD and their families. The foundation has already provided funding for a number of research studies and programs aimed at improving outcomes for individuals with ASD.
